`Towards the Future`11` conquers the world!!! (Iryna Kuzyna)

‘I couldn`t even imagine that my first internship will take place in Turkey)…But that was the best way to spend my summertime!

And after two months of impatient waiting, two hours by plane and 6 hours by train and finally here I am…the last intern)))…And my first look on the night Eskisehir…It was enough one minute to fall in love with the city `where statues are talking to u`. I met there another culture, people, mentality, country but I was feeling really comfortable there all the time….as at home)

LC Eskisehir met me with its hospitality. Joined the project “Towards the Future”, I was working with students and kids, preparing speaking classes for them. But I can even say that they were for me like teachers…the best teachers about Turkish life and the country. Also I heard so many questions about Ukraine and our people. That was great time we spent together and I miss my clever children and students so much…

That internship allows me to connect the whole world…So many people from different countries in one place, in one time. I found there lots of friends…..good friends. Day in day I spent with them cool, funny hours. I`ll never forget our home parties, open-air cinemas, delicious lunches, weekend breakfasts at 2 pm, free beer in Del Mundo every Monday, crazy visits to lunapark, girs talking evenings and shopping…and of course our trips…

I had great opportunity to travel a lot with my friends…Istanbul, Bursa, Ankara, Izmir, Troy city, Assos, Aegean and Marmora sea…So many famous places that charmed you with it ancient beauty, where your heart started to beat faster, where you felt the breath of history…

And that amazing time in Eski helps me to aim the main gains of my internship: to improve English, to get the experience in teaching, social and cultural education,  to develop my personal skills: communicative, presentation, organization, team-working, leadership.

I hope u like my summer story and it will help u not to miss your chance to have the best experience abroad and make your own impact on somebody`s heart, meet new friends and have an amazing time!!!))

My Poland!

Hello reader;) Here I will try to describe what was summer internship in Poland for me.

I was lucky to find really interesting project . EduPoland project s is about education in Poland. The main idea is to find and support Ukrainian students to study in Poland. So I was involved in process of brainstorming, creating the product, product packaging, marketing and promotion. It was really special because I was able to make strategical decisions. Project leader (Bartek) was the real leader, cause he enabled me a free space for creativity.

The internship was taking place in lovely city Slupsk in North-West Poland. The population is about 100 thousands. People are friendly and opened. Architecture is amazing and really similar to Lviv. I was living in Barteks house. I had separate room and all conditions were really comfortable.

My time in Poland was full of traveling. Baltic sea located only 20 km to Slupsk, so I was going there several times a week. Also I visited outstanding polish festival – Woodstock 2011. There were about 700 000 of people! A lot of great musicians and Prodigy by the way! In Poland I visited also Gdansk, Szscecin, Koshalin and Lublin. But greatest trip was in Europe. I visited Berlin and stayed there for one day. And then I went to Amsterdam by hitchhiking. It was 28 hours, but it was really unforgettable! I enjoyed this beautiful Holland city for two days.  have met my friend Tom there and he shoved Amsterdam to me.

All in all I am highly satisfied of my internship and of hospitality of AIESEC in Koshalin. Looking forward to visit my friends in Poland again!

The day I decided to go on exchange was when I just joined AIESEC. The idea to experience another culture, meet new people and discover something different seemed extremely exciting. So when summer was coming I signed a contract, found an appropriate internship and bought a ticket to Warsaw.  I was dreaming to develop myself working with children, improve my Polish and, for sure, to have rest and fun=)

All my wishes came true. Teaching and taking care of kids from summer camps brought lots of positive emotions and changed me greatly. Helping and spending time with them was wonderful and useful experience in my life. And now I’m very happy to receive so pleasant messages from them. Our days-off in the city were full of great events and awesome parties. We admired the architecture of Old Town, discovered the beauty of parks and museums and made friends with people from Pakistan, Chile, Greece, China, Argentina, of course, Poland etc. It was very difficult to say good-bye to them and came back home. I’m looking forward to use this amazing chance and go on exchange once again.

Now I’m involving into the life of home LC as Alumni/ER Coordinator. This position offers a wide variety of opportunities to develop personal and professional skills. It’s so nice to use past experience from alumni in present activities to achieve better results in the future, as they can give much helpful advice and interesting information. So I’d like to make a major contribution to the history of LC Lviv:)

Amazing internship in Romania from Vicky Tsyupka

I want to say thank to AIESEC for such wonderful and important opportunity that I`ve got. This exchange was unforgettable. About ‘Grow’ – it`s very interesting and excited project. We had a sessions in school with student from 12th grade, and were talking about vocational path, time management, career opportunity. I really saw how participants were interesting in, during the project, I saw how did they grow up. They did a good job and I appreciate their passion to learn new things . When we were playing energizing games they were so excited.
Also I want to add that I met a lot of friendly people, especially my roommates: Dominic and Zorica. We became like a real family. We already had our own jokes, phrases, we even all the time went in the same order. I`m glad that I met this people, because two of them are really smart, and unique and I learned a lot from both. I hope that we will meet each other quite soon, because I used to live with them and I miss that time very much.
I`m happy that I`ve been on exchange in winter time, it`s good time to learn more about international Christmas traditions and to feel the spirit of holidayes. I was so surprised when on Christmas night Mihai, Ella and participants came to our place and brouht us traditional food – sarmali, salads, mamaliga. Wow, it was very good, after this we defenitely get more weight . But now it`s ok
So I want to say that it was amazing exchange and I will recommend to all students go in Iasi, because there are awesome people and if you want to get unforgettable experience, improve your English , learn more about traditions and history of another country just don`t be afraid to challenge yourself. Go on exchange….

Дебют Юлії Шамро. Стажування в Польщі і проект Enter Your Future

Це було перше у моєму житті стажування, перша самостійна поїздка за кордон та й одразу аж на 6 тижнів (а на такий довгий період часу я ще ніколи не покидала рідної домівки . Тому з одного боку я з нетерпінням чекала дати від’їзду, адже мене переповнювала цікавість до всього того, що там, у Польщі, має зі мною трапитися (а трапилося справді багацько всього дуже і дуже файного:), але з іншого боку охоплювало невелика хвилювання, бо я їхала сама у чужу країну на зустріч чомусь невідомому, до кінця мені не зрозумілому .
І ось настав той час – 2 листопада. Після 9-годинної подорожі автобусом я у Варшаві. До гостелу Крокодил з’їхалися всі учасники і організатори проекту Enter your future. Разом нас можна було нарахувати десь чоловік 25. З України було 2 учасників: я і дівчинка Таня, а також були волонтери з Ромунії, Гонконгу, Китаю, Грузії, Камеруну, Бельгії та Росії. Протягом 3 днів, живучи разом під спільним дахом, ми знайомилися ближче один з одним, раділи, жартували, спілкувалися, але також і вчилися . Координатори проекту приготували для нас дуже цікаві і корисні сесії, тренінги, презентації про організацію Aiesec, сам проект, його мету та нашу роль у ньому.
Після конференції у Варшаві ми, озброєні новими знаннями, натхненням та ентузіазмом, роз’їхались по різних містах Польщі. Для мене наступним місцем призначення став Вроцлав. Туди нас поїхало шестеро волонтерів. Місто зустріло нас дощем, але погода настрою нікому не зіпсувала і за 2 дні нашого перебування у Вроцлаві, ми встигнули оглянути визначні місця, найгарніші культурні і історичні пам’ятки та полюбити це місто. На цьому і завершився 1 етап нашого проекту. А сам проект був побудований таким чином, що кожний наступний тиждень ми проводили уроки в іншому місті, а відповідно й в іншій школі. Мені це дуже сподобалося, оскільки за весь час перебування в Польщі я побувала в 9 містах, кожен тиждень подорожуючи з одного куточка Польщі в інший. Бувало таке, що протягом одного тижня я встигала відвідати 2 міста, а ще й трапилася нагода, дякуючи нашим милим учням, побувати у Німеччині. Засобами нашого пересування були поїзди, тому я чудово вивчила правила подорожування польською залізницею
(думаю, мені це ще стане в пригоді і крім того, мала можливість зустрітися з різними людьми, починаючи із сварливих кондукторів і закінчуючи українськими футболістами (чого тільки не трапляється в дорозі . На наших уроках ми польським студентам на англійській мові розповідали про організацію Aiesec, представляли свою країну, її звичаї, традиції, а також разом обговорювали соціальні, культурні питання і проблеми, що існують сьогодні у світі. Всім було цікаво і весело. Студенти залишилися задоволеними і запрошували нас ще приїздити до них в гості. Також варто сказати, що польська молодь чудово підготувалася до нашого приїзду, і нам сумувати було ніколи. Разом зі студентами ми каталися на ковзанах та санях, грали у більярд, відвідували кеглі-клуб, смажили сосиски у лісі, гуляли місто, ходили на каву, по магазинах, навіть відвідали керамічний завод. А польські сім’ї, в яких ми жили, приймали нас дуже тепло та гостинно,
можна сказати, що ми ставали на тиждень частинкою їхньої родини .

Мене звати Тимофеєва Юлія. Завдяки AIESEC я отримала можливість побувати на соціальному стажування в Туреччині. Чесно кажучи, я мало знала про культуру цієї країни і навіть не уявляла, які несподіванки на мене чекають. Перше,що дійсно вразило це привітність, гостинність і щедрість турецького народу. Кожен незнайомець сприймає тебе наче друга.

That was the start of incredible story named “Me in Incredible India”. I still remember first few hours after receiving this email: shock, excitement, fear, fear again, calling to my friends and parents, hearing from everywhere ‘Are you crazy, couldn’t you choose “normal country”?’ Normal country for most of my friends and my parents meant western European country or at least US… For some people India seems as definitely not normal country and frankly speaking it isJ. But if you want to live most unforgettable, exciting, challenging, mind-blowing period if your life, if you don’t want to be ‘normal’ and do ‘normal’ things, that’s definitely # 1 place to go!

Літо наближалось… сесія, а за нею майже три місяці канікул. У голові виникали думки: «Що ж робити? Куди податись цього літа, щоб не сидіти вдома?». Перспективи аналогічного до попередніх років відпочинку змушували мене шукати щось нове.

Дуже часто після здачі останньої сесії та захисту останнього диплому, у новоспечених бакалаврів або магістрів з’являється дивне відчуття незавершеності. З одного боку – радість, що нарешті розпочинається ось це довгоочікуване самостійне життя без навчання. З іншого – невпевненість у тому, що робити далі, і навіть невеликий страх перед пошуками роботи.

I come from Macedonia small country with 2 milion people, so imagine me in Lviv where live more than 2 milion people…….lost in fairy tail called Lviv.

I have really interesting situtaions during my traveling to get to Lviv Ukraine…..In this contex I need to say that I heart lots of stories from my friends everything what could happend to me in the train.But, I wasnt afraid.I left Skopje (the capital city in Republic of Macedonia) with great thoughts and exitment that I am going to Lviv Ukraine.
